Just thought I'd post a quick message, now that it's been over a year since my last journal entry. >_< Sorry I don't update as much anymore... but I just don't do much "traditional art" anymore. I have hobbies, but DA is chock full of ball-jointed doll photos, so I only post a handful of mine - the ones I like the most.

I've also been focusing more on my writing, but I don't really post it here... since my writing is something I'd like to try to get published one day, I can't "self-publish" on DA. Maybe I'll post a couple of my short stories again (ones I'm not planning on submitting) or some excerpts of novels I have well and truly abandoned.

Other than BJDs, I've been getting back into costuming again lately (preparation for Dragon*Con, woohoo!), so I might post some photos when I get those completed.

Anyway... just wanted to pop up and say I'm still around.

It's been a year since I updated... so I figured it's time to throw a few more pieces on here.

Look, I uploaded something! *points*  Another Alice illustration, of course. ^_^ But it proves I'm alive! I just don't do as much art lately... a lot of my artistic energy is spent working on my ball-jointed dolls, but there's so much BJD stuff on DA already, I don't really feel the need to post mine.

*points*  I updated!  Go me!  Just some photos from recent vacations, walks around town, and a trip to the zoo. ^_^  Nothing too fancy, but it's an update at least.

Currently writing up a frenzy in NaNoWriMo!  Halfway there!

Yay!  I finished NaNo two days early with a novel of 50,825 words.  I'm sure it will get longer in editing as well.  After it has undergone a good editing I will post it here, but I have promised my NaNo cheerleaders the first look at it. ^_^
